Sitting, the new silent killer.

Research has established a clear link between a sedentary life and an increased risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and mortality. It’s also shown that the negative effects of prolonged sitting can’t be undone by exercise, the same way you can’t counter damage from smoking a pack of cigarettes by hitting the gym.
